SUPERSHIFT PART I
ARCH 202A | ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN II | FALL 2022
In the 202A studio, the mission was to imagine the potential of the urban environment as a '“super future”. First, as a studio section, we designed our own super future city that is both high quality and radical, addressing issues of sustainability, diversity, and equity. The site we re-imagined is originally a ditch situated in Pasadena, California.
Next, we divided our site into 13 super blocks among students for further development. Located at the super end of the super plan, my super block functions as a transitional point, connecting existing conditions of Pasadena with out site.

In response to existing urban conditions of Pasadena, my super block tackles mobility issues. Program wise, it operates as a charging station for any type of future vehicle including drones.
